The University of Bath is offering the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence Scholarships for commencing students who wish to undertake full-time taught master’s degree studies in the following 3 faculties: Faculty of Engineering & Design, Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences, and Faculty of Science.

Awarded on the basis of academic excellence, the Deans Award for Academic Excellence Scholarship aims to reward students with strong academic credentials and demonstrable background of achievement and success.

Scholarship Benefits

Benefits of the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence Scholarships: Each of the 3 Faculties will award 8 scholarships, each scholarship worth £5,000, which can only be used as fee waivers towards the cost of tuition fees. The fee waiver is applied to the first year of study only. There is no cash alternative to a fee waiver.

Scholarship Eligibility

Eligibility for the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence Scholarships: This scholarship is open to applicants of all nationalities (UK, EU and International applicants) and is awarded for academic excellence. Only those who have applied for a master’s degree course at any one of the aforesaid 3 faculties and who hold an offer from the University of Bath for a full-time taught master’s course starting in AY 2020, are eligible.

  • Applicants have to complete the University of Bath scholarship application form using the application tracker. They have to complete 3 to 5 questions as part of the scholarship application process for September 2020 entry.
  • You have to apply for the scholarship by 20 January 2020 for a decision by 14 February 2020; by 27 April 2020 for a decision by 21 May 2020; and by 17 July 2020 for a decision by 7 August 2020.
