Scholarship Benefits
- A living allowance of approximately $30,600 per annum
- Relocation grant of $2000 for students moving from States or Territories other than Victoria or $3000 for students moving from outside Australia

Scholarship Eligibility
- Students must have received a minimum of 80% for the research component and a minimum weighted average of 80% in their final year subjects or the University of Melbourne's equivalent.
- Students should not have already finished a research degree at the same or a higher level than the program for which funding is being applied.
- Students ought to have applied for admission to a Ph.D. program but aren't presently enrolled in a course offered by the Asia Institute at the University of Melbourne.
