Fulbright TEA Program Scholarship 2026 is a fully funded, six-week professional development opportunity designed for international secondary-level educators to enhance their teaching skills in the United States. The Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (TEA) places participants at a U.S. host university, where they take part in academic seminars focused on modern teaching methods, student-centered learning, lesson planning, instructional technology, and an in-depth understanding of the U.S. education system.

Alongside university-based learning, participants complete at least 40 hours of practical field experience in a local U.S. secondary school, working closely with partner teachers in the same or a related subject area. The program also includes cultural and civic activities, allowing educators to engage with host communities, exchange classroom best practices, and build lasting professional connections across borders.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must have earned a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification.
• Applicants should have at least three years of full-time teaching experience by the start of the program, with preference given to those with five or more years.
• Applicants must be citizens and residents of a participating country at the time of application and during the program.
• A minimum TOEFL iBT score of 45 or an equivalent English proficiency score is required.
• Candidates must show a clear commitment to continue teaching after completing the program.
