OeAD Postgraduate Studentships

This tag gathers information about OeAD Postgraduate Studentships for students considering advanced study in Austria. Use the related post to understand the opportunity and identify the key points to check before applying. OeAD refers to Austria’s Agency for Education and Internationalisation, which supports international academic exchange; available funding arrangements and eligibility can differ by programme, applicant profile and year.

Before preparing an application, confirm the current official call and its deadline. Review eligible countries, degree level, subject areas, host institution requirements, funding coverage, duration and any language or academic prerequisites. Check whether applicants must secure admission separately, which documents are required, and how references, transcripts and translations should be submitted. Award amounts, application procedures and selection criteria may change, so rely on the latest OeAD guidance rather than assuming details from an earlier intake remain valid.

Scholarship Union’s OeAD Postgraduate Studentships archive is intended as a starting point for postgraduate and international applicants. Compare the opportunity with your study plans, verify all conditions with the provider, and allow enough time to gather documents and complete each application step.
