Scholarship Description

To give students opportunities to contribute to solving current real-world problems in statistical ecology, the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of St Andrews is hosting the MSc Statistical Ecology Scholarships for the academic year 2022-2023.

The University of St Andrews International Scholarship is Exclusively offered to international and domestic students for the MSc in Statistical Ecology.  This scholarship will cover the tuition fee of the programme for 1 year of study. Students that apply to commence their study in 2022 are eligible candidates to be awarded this scholarship.

Scholarship Benefits

The University of St. Andrews will provide the selected international students with a scholarship that will cover the tuition fee of the undertaken MSc programme.

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: All domestic and international students are eligible to apply for this University of St Andrews International Scholarship.
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: MSc Statistical Ecology programme offered at St. Andrews University can be applied for.
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must be entering to study in 2022.

  • How to Apply: Students must log in to the university portal to apply for admission. Students can go through the Scholarships and Funding catalog during the application process to apply for this scholarship.
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • CV or résumé
  • A personal statement
  • Two original signed academic references.
  • Academic transcripts and degree certificates
  • Personal Statement
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must have a 1 undergraduate Honours degree in a relevant discipline (for example, biological sciences, ecology, mathematics, statistics, environmental science or computer science) or a 2.2 in a relevant discipline and equivalent work experience (for example, at least 12 months working in a relevant field).
  • Language Requirement: The students must submit English language proficiency proof in alignment with the standardized test scores required by the university.
