Benefits

The University of Otago Scholarships 2022 offers the following benefits:

Masters Degree:

  • NZ$16,000 Stipend per Annum
  • Domestic Tuition Fees waiver

Ph.D. Degree:

  • A stipend of NZ$28,600 per year
  • Waiver of domestic tuition fees for 3 Years (excludes student services fees and insurance)

Eligibility

The University of Otago Scholarships 2022 will be based on the following criteria:

 For Master Degree:

  • Academic merit is used to select students
  • Obtaining their first Master’s degree
  • International students
  • undertaking a thesis-based Master’s

For Ph.D. Degree:

  • Students are selected on the basis of academic merit
  • International students
  • seeking to obtain their first doctoral qualification
