Introduction
The University of Malta Funded Scholarships is open to all internationals who want to pursue a master's or Ph.D. degree in Malta. Students from outside the European ?? Union/EEA can apply. Professional doctorates and MBA-type programs are not eligible. The University of Malta (L-Università ta’ Malta), or UM, is the only public university in Malta.
Malta University has over 1,000 international students from more than 80 countries. The University of Malta is highly ranked. The acceptance rate of the University is 70-80%. This means that for every 100 students who apply to the university, around 70-80 will be accepted. Also, the living cost in Malta is very affordable.

The eligibility criteria for the University of Malta Funded Scholarships are stated below:
1. Only applicants who have been accepted unconditionally to read for a Master’s by research or a Ph.D. on a full-time and part-time basis are eligible to apply.
2. Students from outside the European ?? Union/EEA can apply.
