Benefits

The University College Dublin Scholarship for Chilean Students in Ireland will provide a 10% tuition fee discount to Chilean IUA ANID scholars, with ANID contributing towards the remaining tuition fees. ANID also provides a stipend and covers compulsory international student health insurance fees.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for University College Dublin Scholarship for Chilean Students in Ireland are stated below:

1. Eligible Countries: Chile

2. Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can apply for the Ph.D. degree program at UCD Dublin.

3. Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:

i) Candidates must be a citizen of Chile.

ii) Candidates can be resident in Chile or outside Chile.

iii) Applications are only accepted from students who have the agreement of a UCD academic staff member to be their supervisor.

ii) Choose ‘Course Finder’

iii) Choose IUA-ANID Scholarship Program (TX03)

Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:

i) Academic transcript(s)

ii) Proof of English language level, i.e., IELTS, TOEFL, etc.

iii) Degree certificate(s)

iv) Two academic references

v) A short Research Proposal

vi) Passport (photo page)

Admission Requirements: The applicants must have a  degree in a relevant area with at least an IE 2:1 honors degree (or its international equivalent).

Language Requirement: Applicants must demonstrate a high level of competence in the English language and, at a minimum, meet the UCD English Language Proficiency Requirements (noting that several UCD Schools will require greater than the minimum scores).
