Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award 2025

The Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award is open to all nationals.  This international scholarship is an excellent opportunity for students who are pursuing their bachelor’s or master’s degrees. The SIPGA 2024 is a short-term research program that offers top international students a unique opportunity to experience a dynamic scientific atmosphere. Students will work on their research projects for two to six months and collaborate with globally acclaimed researchers at A*STAR’s Research Entities. The Singapore International Award offers the chance to study in Singapore and pursue research abroad. The SIPGA scholarship 2024 is mainly for students in the field of science and technology (STEM). This includes Computing and Information Science, Biomedical Science, Physical Science, or Engineering related disciplines.

The SIPGA scholarship provides awardees a chance to experience Singapore’s research and academic community, which will open the door to success. International students with an interest in research are highly encouraged to apply for the Singapore Pre-Graduate Award (SIPGA 2024). With the SIPGA Singapore program, students will become a SIPGA awardee and have the opportunity to pursue a SIPGA project in 2024. Students will also have access to A*STAR Research labs/Entities, hence there are various benefits of the SIPGA Pre Graduate Award.

• The SIPGA program has a monthly stipend of $2,000. Hence, reducing the cost of studying in Singapore.

• The SIPGA scholarship is open to both bachelor’s and master’s students.
• It is available to international 3rd and 4th year undergraduate and master’s students, currently studying a STEM program at universities outside Singapore.
• For the Singapore scholarship, applicants must have attained, or be on track to achieve, at least a Second-Class (Upper) Honors or its equivalent in their bachelor’s degree.
• Moreover, all participants must maintain their enrollment status at their home university throughout the duration of the attachment at A*STAR.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential for effective communication during the SIPGA program.
