Shafi Family Scholarship at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand 2025

The Shafi Family Scholarship at Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand is open to all nationals. It is offered for a PhD degree in the field of Engineering. The deadline for sending an application is 01 Nov 2024. This scholarship is provided by the Victoria University of Wellington (VUW). 

This scholarship was established to assist and encourage students, preferably from developing countries, who are undertaking a PhD in Engineering at Te Herenga Waka, Victoria University of Wellington.

The successful applicants will receive NZD 8,000 towards tuition fees.

• Applicants may come from any nationality.
• Applicants must have completed at least 2.5 years of their PhD studies but require more time to complete their thesis. 
• Applicants are assessed based on the student's ability to complete the thesis within the specified timeframe.
• Applicants must be current PhD students enrolled in Engineering at the University.
• Applicants must have completed at least 2.5 years of their PhD studies.
• Applicants from developing countries followed by those who can demonstrate clear financial hardship which could impact their ability to complete their studies are preferred.
