Introduction

The MPI Europe Internships in Belgium is open to all nationals. MPI Stands for the Migration Policy Institute Europe. The MPI was established in Brussels, Belgium in 2011. It is a Nonprofit, independent research institute that aims to provide a better understanding of the Migration in Europe and maintains a better Policymaking. The MPI Europe offers two internships. 1) Research Internship, 2) Finance and Administration Intern.The duration of the internship is six months. This is an in-person internship. Participants will be required to Travel to Brussels. Interns will also receive a Lunch voucher of 8 euros per workday. There is no application fee and there is no need for the IELTS. To be eligible an applicant must have completed a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.

Benefits

  • All interns will receive 1310 Euros per month.
  • Interns will also receive Lunch vouchers of 8 euros on a workday that can be used in grocery stores and most restaurants.

Eligibility

Required Qualification for Research Internship

  • Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Currently enrolled students in a master’s or PhD program can apply. But they should be available throughout the internship.
  • Show interest in the field of migration, asylum, or integration.
  • Good written and oral English communication skills.
  • Candidates who are work-authorized in Belgium will be considered.

Required Qualification for Finance and Administration Intern

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other business-related field.
  • Intermediate-level proficiency with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, but also Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
  • Good written and oral English communication skills.
  • Candidates who are work-authorized in Belgium will be considered.

  • Spring: March through August
