The successful applicants of Mondale Scholarships in US will receive an award of up to USD 1,500.
Eligibility
To be eligible for Mondale Scholarships in US, applicants must fulfil the following requirements
- The scholarship is open to undergraduate students enrolled in Minnesota colleges and universities, University of North Dakota, or North Dakota State University.
- Candidates with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher are preferred.
- Applicants who are keen to expand their knowledge of Japan through a combination of study and travel are welcome to apply.

- Applicants must submit a completed application form.
- Candidates need to submit their official academic transcripts.
- Must provide two letters of recommendation.
- Applicants must submit an essay addressing the questions mentioned in the application.
- Must provide a copy of the letter of acceptance from the program of study in Japan.
