Benefits

For Students Applying With SAT/ACT Scores:

  • Candidates with an SAT score between 1000 - 1300 are granted scholarships in the range of USD 5,000 - 9,000
  • Candidates with an ACT score between 20 - 27 are granted scholarships in the range of USD 5,000 - 9,000
  • Candidates scoring SAT/ACT scores of <1000/20 are awarded USD 1,000 only.

For Students Applying Without SAT/ACT Scores:

  • Candidates with a GPA ranging between 3.2 and 4.0 are granted scholarships in the range of USD 5,000 - 9,000
  • Candidates with a GPA score of <3.0 are awarded USD 1,000 only.

Note: The UMW International Student Merit Scholarship is applicable only for the first year of studies. It is renewable for up to three additional years of continuous undergraduate study at UMW.

International students who are on F-1 Visa are granted USD 4,000 as a scholarship.

Eligibility

  • The award is offered only for the first year of studies
  • The applicant should identify as an International student.
  • Applicants can avail of the scholarship in person only.
