The eligibility criteria for the IMD MBA Scholarships in Switzerland are stated below:
1. Required Language: English
2. Eligible Countries: All world countries
3. Bachelor’s Degree: or the equivalent
4. Work Experience: we require a minimum of three years of full-time, post-graduate experience so that you can demonstrate your career progress. The typical range in the class is four to nine years.
5. Two Recommenders: choose people from business-related sources who know you well, have worked directly with you, and can highlight your professional achievements, interpersonal skills, teamwork, and leadership using our form.
6. GMAT/GRE: the average GMAT score in the class is typically around 680. While your unique experience and achievements can help balance out a weaker score, we recommend that you aim for a score above 630. Please ensure you list IMD as a receiver of your score.
7. TOEFL/IELTS: the entire program is taught in English. If English is not your native language and you have not previously studied in English, you must submit a TOEFL or IELTs score. There is no minimum requirement. Ideally, we recommend 105+ on the TOEFL (IBT) or an IELTS score 7.5. Our TOEFL IBT Code is – C301. Contact us if you have doubts about the suitability of your score.
8. Second Language: aside from English, we look for knowledge of a second language, which can also be your native language, as a part of your international outlook.
Upload the following documents:
1. Degrees and Transcripts
Copies of original diplomas and official transcripts, with the grading scale, for all university degrees or equivalent. Official translations to English or French are required for every document.
2. GMAT/GRE
A GMAT or GRE score that is less than five years old.
You must upload a test taker copy and order an official score report for IMD. Our GMAT code is SKR-MM-13, and our GRE code is 8490.
3. English Test
A TOEFL or an IELTS score less than five years old (for non-native English speakers who do not have a university degree taught fully in English).
You will be required to upload a test taker copy and to order an official score report for IMD. Our TOEFL IBT Code is C301.
4. Recommenders
Two references from business-related sources that can highlight your professional achievements, interpersonal skills, teamwork, and leadership.
We recommend that you enter and submit their contact details at least two weeks before the application deadline so that they have time to complete and submit our online form. Only professional email addresses (no Hotmail, Gmail, etc.) are accepted.
5. CV
A one-page resume in English using the IMD CV template can be downloaded here. Other formats will not be accepted.
6. Photo
A professional-style electronic photograph with no background scenery. The high-resolution setting is at least 150 DPI, size 150KB, and JPEG format.
6. Passport
A copy of your passport (picture page) that is valid throughout the entire MBA year. If you have multiple nationalities, please upload a copy of each.
7. Application Fee
There is a non-refundable application fee of CHF 200.
