Scholarship Description
The Hatfield Lioness Postgraduate Scholarship in UK is open to female students from developing countries who wish to undertake a full-time master's degree program at the University of Durham. The aim is to enable these female students from developing countries where access to tertiary education is limited to benefit from postgraduate study at the University of Durham.

Scholarship Benefits
The Hatfield Lioness Postgraduate Scholarship in UK will cover for one academic year the following:
• Full payment of University tuition fees
• Stipend for living expenses
• One return economy air ticket from the home country to the UK, and the cost of return travel between the UK airport and Durham City
• Fully funded, self-catered, single room in mixed accommodation at Hatfield College
• Settling in allowance on arrival
• Cost of UK visa and the UK Health surcharge.
The Scholarship does not provide funding for dependents or travel during the Scholarship. Accommodation is for the Scholarship holder only; dependents cannot be accommodated.
Scholarship Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the Hatfield Lioness Postgraduate Scholarship in UK are stated below:
• Hold a relevant honors degree of sufficient standard to be admitted to their chosen Masters course; and
• Have all other course entry requirements, including the relevant English language qualification.
• Not hold a Master’s degree; and
• Not otherwise have the financial means to study for a Master’s degree in the UK
