Introduction

The Fully Funded Scotland Pakistan Scholarships for Young Women in Pakistan are open to Pakistani nationals. Students currently enrolled in an Undergraduate Degree or Masters/MPhil Degree are requested to apply for the award. It’s a fully funded scholarship at Pakistani universities. The Scholarship will cover all expenses for a Bachelor’s or Master’s/MPhil degree at any Pakistani HEC recognized University.

The Scotland Scholarship 2024 for Pakistani Students will provide funds for a maximum of two years for a Master’s Degree and for a year for a Bachelor's Degree in any HEC recognized university across Pakistan Funded by the Scottish Government.

For the very first time this year, the Scotland Scholarship is being offered at the undergraduate level for a four-year bachelor’s degree as well. British Council will administer the scheme in Pakistan and coordinate with selected scholars and universities either directly or through nominated university focal persons.

Eligibility

  • Only female applicants can apply.
  • Be Pakistani nationals currently residing in Pakistan.
  • Be pursuing a four-year bachelor’s degree or two-year master’s degree in the above-listed subject areas.
  • Hold a confirmed admission offer from an HEC-recognized university in Pakistan.
  • Young women with disabilities from rural areas and/or minority groups are encouraged to apply.

Documents Required for Scotland Scholarship:

  • A duly filled-out application form
  • Scanned copy of CNIC
  • Scanned copy of transcripts
  • Salary slips of Parent/Guardian (You may also choose to submit a pension slip or any proof of parent’s/guardian’s employment status)
  • Copy of certificate or result sheet of most recently completed educational degree
  • Proof of admission and/or enrollment at the master’s/bachelor’s level
  • Copy of tuition fee schedule for the program you are pursuing. (If you need to utilize hostel facilities, please be sure to present a fee schedule for the hostel costs as well).
