Successful candidates will receive a studentship that covers full Home tuition fees, pays a monthly stipend at UKRI rates (£15,285 per year in 2020/21), Also, a Research Training Support Grant of £2000 to cover expenses, including travel and fieldwork.

To be eligible for the University of Bradford Masters Scholarship 2023 applicants need to fulfill the following criteria:

  • Students having any nationality are eligible to apply.
  • Black students
  • Disabled students
  • Female students
  • Care leavers
  • Polar Q1 and Q2 students
  • Refugees were given the sanctuary status of the university
  • Estranged students
  • Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller students
  • Children from military families, veterans, and partners of military personnel.
  • Prioritizing criteria in case of over-subscription:
    • Students with 2 or more underrepresented group characteristics.
    • Care leavers are based on the rationale that they are the most underrepresented group within the University of Bradford and underrepresented in highly skilled employment.
    • Black students are based on the rationale that they are the 2nd most underrepresented group within the University of Bradford and underrepresented in highly skilled employment.
    • Disabled students are based on the rationale that they are the 3rd most underrepresented group within the University of Bradford and underrepresented in highly skilled employment.
    • Female students are based on the rationale that they are underrepresented in the digital sector although not underrepresented within the student body at the University of Bradford.
