Introduction

The Fully Funded PSC Masters Scholarship in Singapore is open to Singaporeans.  It is offered for a Master's degree in Areas relevant to the work of the Public Service. The deadline for sending your application is 15 Mar 2024. This scholarship is provided by the Public Service Commission (PSC) Singapore.

The PSC Master’s Scholarship is for undergraduates in any year of study who are keen to pursue a Master’s degree upon graduation or are recent graduates with no more than three years of working experience in the private/non-government sector. Public officers can contact their respective agencies on opportunities for post-graduate sponsorship.

The Public Service Commission (PSC), Singapore (Malay: Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Awam Singapura), is constituted under Part IX of the Constitution of Singapore, and its constitutional role is to appoint, confirm, promote, transfer, dismiss, and exercise disciplinary control over public officers in Singapore. The PSC also retains two key non-constitutional roles. It considers the suitability of candidates for appointment as Chief Executive Officers of Statutory Boards; it is also responsible for the planning and administration of scholarships provided by the Government of Singapore. As of July 2010, the Chairman of the PSC is Eddie Teo. Its members are Tan Yam Pin Charles Toh Kwa Chong Seng Lim Chin Beng David Wong Chin, Michael Lim Choo Po’ad Bin Shaik Abu Bakar Mattar Edward D'Silva Richard R Magnus Chua Sock Koong Lily Kong Philip Jeyaretnam Alan Chan.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded PSC Masters Scholarship in Singapore are stated below:

1. Applicant must be a Singapore citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident willing to take Singapore citizenship.

2. Applicant has strong leadership qualities and potential.

3. The candidate should have a good Co-Curricular Activities record.

4. The applicant should offer GCE A Levels, a Polytechnic diploma with merit or equivalent qualifications, e.g., an International Baccalaureate or high school diploma.

5. Applicant must Have a strong interest in a career in public administration.

6. The scholarship is not offered for the MBA program, and the course of study should be in an area relevant to the work of the Civil Service, as approved by the PSC.
