• The first level is a fully funded scholarship. It includes full exemption from tuition fees, full accommodation fee waiver and monthly living allowances. 
• The monthly living allowance for undergraduate students is 1500 RMB per month for 12 months. For master’s students, it is 2000 RMB per month for 12 months and for Ph.D. candidates, it is 3500 RMB per month.
• The second level includes full exemption from tuition fees.

The eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded NPU President Scholarship in China are stated below:

• Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports for the NPU President Scholarship in China. 
• For undergraduate program applicants, a high school diploma is mandatory. They should be under the age of 25 before 1 September 2024.
• For master’s program applicants, a bachelor’s degree certificate is mandatory. 
• Applicants must be under the age of 30 before 1 September 2024 if applying for a master’s scholarship in China.
• In addition, for Ph.D. program applicants, a master’s degree certificate is a must. They should be under the age of 35 before 1 September 2024.
• Applicants should be in good physical and mental health, free from infectious diseases and conditions that may hinder regular studies, to be eligible for the NPU President Scholarship. 
• All applicants should demonstrate good learning ability and academic performance with a requirement of an average score of 75% and above in previous academic grades.
• Similarly, NPU also accepts global standard tests such as SAT/ACT/A-Level/AP/IB/IGCSE/WAEC/GED/GRE/GMAT.
• To be eligible for the Northwestern Polytechnical University President Scholarship, applicants must meet Chinese/English language proficiency requirements. These need to align with the application and admission criteria.
• For former Chinese citizens who have immigrated to other countries, they must hold passports or citizenship certificates of their current countries for at least four years.
• Moreover, if one or both parents of the applicants are Chinese citizens, supporting documents must be provided. This includes a certificate proving foreign nationality at birth or certificates of cancellation of Chinese nationality for those who used to be Chinese citizens and later immigrated to other countries.
