The Fully Funded Global Korea Scholarship in South Korea is open to all nationals. It is an initiative the Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP) takes for international students. The purpose of this program is to provide a chance for international students to pursue higher education institutions in the prestigious institutes of Korea. It is designed to strengthen the international education exchange between Korea and participating countries. Scholarship Benefits

The benefits of the Fully Funded Global Korea Scholarship in South Korea are:

1. Students will get a complete tuition fee waiver.

2. Selected students will get a one-time Resettlement Allowance when they arrive in Korea.

3. Postgraduate students will get a monthly allowance of 100,000 for Master’s and doctoral and 1,500,000 for research programs.

4. All students selected for the program will get medical Insurance.

5. Research Allowance.

6. Students will get round Airfare Tickets for economy class.

7. The government of Korea will also provide students with the cost of language courses.

Scholarship Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded Global Korea Scholarship in South Korea are stated below:

1. Applicants must be nationals of the participating countries of the Global Korea Scholarship.

2. They should not hold dual citizenship or Korean citizenship.

3. Applicants must first submit the certificate of expected graduation at the time of applying who have not graduated at the time of applying. Applicants expected to graduate by July 31st, 2024, can apply for the GKS program with a certificate of expected graduation (Hope Certificate).

4. International students must have a higher CGPA. This means he should be in the top 20% of his class or equal to or above 2.64/4.00.

5. The applicant’s age must be under 40 years.

6. Students must be in good health, both mentally and physically.

7. Applicants must hold or expect to hold a bachelor’s degree to be admitted to a Master’s Program or have a master’s degree to be admitted to a PhD Degree Program.

8. Research Program applicants must have a degree or education equivalent to a master’s degree and have received an invitation from any NIIED-designated Korean university.

9. Postdoctoral Research Program must have a doctoral degree or degree equivalent to a doctoral degree.

10. They must submit English Language Requirements/Certificates.

11. Students who have already received Korean scholarships are not eligible to apply for KGSP 2024.
