Fully Funded Fisher Family Summer Fellows Program at Stanford University in USA 2025

The Fully Funded Fisher Family Summer Fellows Program is open to all nationals. The  Stanford Fisher Family Summer Fellows Program was formerly the Draper Hills Summer Fellows Program. It is a fully funded fellowship in the USA hosted annually by Stanford University’s Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law (CDDRL). The program aims to enhance the fellows’ leadership skills and provide a deep understanding of the latest research and ideas in the fields of democracy, development, and the rule of law. Stanford University is one of the most prestigious universities in the world.

• A small travel fund is available for those who can not afford to travel to California.

• Applicants from countries such as the U.S., Canada, Australia, Japan, and member states of the European Union are not eligible.
• There is no application fee for this summer fellowship.
• Target: Mid-career professionals in democracy, development, and the rule of law.
• Backgrounds: Government, academia, law, social entrepreneurship, business, civil society organizations (trade unions, NGOs, media, professional associations).
• Participants should have a proven track record of success in a relevant field within democracy, development, and the rule of law.
• IELTS or TOEFL are not required.
• Applicants must have graduated with a bachelor's degree.
• Currently enrolled in full-time university students can not apply.
