Introduction

The Fully Funded CRM-ISM Science and Engineering Postdoctoral Fellowships are offered for a Post Doc degree in Mathematics research. The deadline for sending your application is 10 Nov 2023. The objective of this program is to Allow the beneficiaries of this scholarship to devote most of their time to their research work under the supervision of a professor from one of the ISM member universities.

Université Laval is a French-language, public research university in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. The University was founded by royal charter issued by Queen Victoria in 1852, with roots in the founding of the Séminaire de Québec in 1663 by François de Montmorency-Laval, making it the oldest center of higher education in Canada and the first North American institution to offer higher education in French. The university, whose main campus was erected from the 1950s onward in the suburban borough Sainte-Foy–Sillery–Cap-Rouge, is ranked among the top ten Canadian universities in terms of research funding.

Benefits

The Fully Funded CRM-ISM Science and Engineering Postdoctoral Fellowships offer an annual stipend of at least CAN$ 45,000 for one year, with the possibility of renewal for a second year. In addition, an annual amount of CAN$1,000 in research funds will be made available. 

 

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the Fully Funded CRM-ISM Science and Engineering Postdoctoral Fellowships are stated below:

1. Candidates must have obtained a doctorate after May 1, 2020.

2. Preference will be given to individuals not currently enrolled in a CRM and ISM member university. However, this does not constitute an eligibility criterion.
