Eligibility

  • The fellowship is open to international candidates from any country.
  • Candidates must have completed their PhD or a similar health professional degree by 15 September 2021 to 30 September 2025 or before the fellowship’s commencement.
  • Individuals who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents are restricted to conducting the fellowship solely within Canadian institutions.
  • Canadian citizens or permanent residents holding a PhD from a foreign institution can be considered eligible only if they continue their postdoctoral work within a Canadian institute.
