The CQUniCares Scott Williams Foundation Scholarships in Australia are open for Australians. This scholarship is provided by Central Queensland University (CQU). It will provide recognition and financial assistance to deserving students studying a business-related course under financial pressure. 

Central Queensland University (or CQUniversity) is an Australian dual-sector university based in Queensland. Its main campus is in North Rockhampton, Queensland. However, it also has campuses in Rockhampton City, Bundaberg, Emerald, Gladstone City, Gladstone Marina, Mackay Ooralea, Mackay City and Noosa, as well as delivery sites in Cairns, Cannonvale, Townsville, Charters Towers, Yeppoon, Biloela, Geraldton, Karratha and Perth. On 31 October 2014, CQUniversity announced that it would open a full campus in the Townsville CBD in 2015. It has metropolitan campuses in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane. As of 2012, the metropolitan campuses hosted both international and domestic students.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the CQUniCares Scott Williams Foundation Scholarships in Australia are stated below:

1. Be enrolled or intend to enroll at CQUniversity in Term 2, 2024

2. Be studying any undergraduate course (inclusive of a higher education Diploma) relating to any of the following disciplines:

a) Accounting

b) Business

c) Digital Media

d) Information Technology

e) Laws

3. Have a study load of at least 12 credit points each term

4. Be able to demonstrate low personal/family income or being under financial pressure

5. Preference will be given to students (in declining order) who are residing in the Sunshine Coast and Moreton Shire Council areas, residing in regional Queensland, or residing in regional Australia

6. Be an Australian citizen

7. Be enrolled at CQUniversity at Census Date of Term 2, 2024

8. Not be receiving another CQUniversity Scholarship of similar or higher value
