The Australian Catholic University Honours Scholarship is open to all internationals. is offered for a bachelor's degree in Arts, Theology, or philosophy Honours. The deadline for sending your application is 30 Nov 2023. This scholarship is provided by the Australian Catholic University (ACU). 

Applicants who intend to pursue an honors program at ACU after completing their bachelor's degree, whether at ACU or another institution, are eligible for this scholarship. With the help of some of ACU's most successful researchers, students will receive guidance as they study research techniques.

Australian Catholic University (ACU) is a publicly funded university with seven campuses around Australia. It is one of the few Australian universities with a presence in Europe, having opened the Rome Centre in Italy in 2015.

ACU has grown rapidly, with undergraduate students increasing by more than 60% between 2010 and 2015. The university has over 32,000 students from 160 countries and over 2,200 staff. It has matched this growth with the expansion and upgrade of its campuses. Several new buildings and developments have won interior design or architecture awards and received a 6-Star Green Star energy rating from the Green Building Council of Australia.

For the Australian Catholic University Honours Scholarship up to $10,000 will be awarded as a scholarship, paid out in $5,000 semesterly installments. For part-time enrollment, an amount is computed pro rata (partial).

The eligibility criteria for the Australian Catholic University Honours Scholarship are stated below:

1. Course: starting in Semester 1 of 2024 for the Bachelor of Theology (Honors): 

2. Year level: finished or about to finish the last year of an appropriate bachelor's degree 

3. Student types can be classified as follows:

4. Completed (or is scheduled to finish in Semester 2, 2023) an undergraduate degree at a non-ACU university OR

5. Alumni from ACU who graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2022 or earlier.

If you completed your bachelor’s degree outside ACU, you must also upload a copy of your transcript.
