The Arjen Ryder Memorial Scholarship at University of Western Australia is open to all nationals. It is offered for Bachelors degree in the field of Science and Philosophy. The Arjen Ryder Memorial Scholarship has been established to encourage and assist a high-achieving undergraduate student to pursue a Bachelor of Science (Honours), or Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours), with a thesis relating to sustainable agricultural practices at the UWA Albany Centre.

• The Department of Agriculture and Food Western Australia (DAFWA) may offer the recipient the opportunity to present their findings to DAFWA and fellow donors of the fund to assist researchers in building their networks in the region.

• Candidates applying for Arjen Ryder Memorial Undergraduate Scholarships, 2024 can be of any nationality.
• Candidates must demonstrate excellent academic achievement.
• Candidates must be enrolled or be eligible to enroll full-time in an honors course leading to a Bachelor of Science (Honours) or Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) at the UWA Albany Centre.
• Candidates must demonstrate how their research will be of benefit to the Great Southern Region of Western Australia.
