Introduction

The ADB Internship in Philippines is open to all nationals. The Asian Development Bank offers a paid internship program that is project-based and comes with a learning opportunity for graduate students to gain experience and learn how ADB works. The applications for the ADB Internship 2025 are now open. Interns will be on board from January 2025 onwards. It welcomes motivated, open-minded applicants to apply. IELTS is not required for the Asian Development Bank Internship.

ADB offers internships twice a year to enrolled Master’s students and Ph.D. Level students. Undergraduate students who are currently enrolled can not apply. Most internship positions are available at the Asian Development Bank Headquarters in the Philippines. The duration of the internship is from 8 weeks to a maximum of 11 weeks.

  • Monthly Stipend: The Asian Development Bank (ADB) offers students a generous stipend lasting up to 26 weeks. Ranging from $1,000 to $2,200
  • Airfare Ticket: The ADB also Funds and provides airfare tickets from the home country to the internship location.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the ADB Internship in Philippines are stated below:

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral degree program at a university in one of ADB’s member countries.
  • Be a national of one of ADB’s member countries.
  • Have excellent skills of English.
  • Proof of English language test is not mandatory.

  • All documents (CV and essay) are uploaded to ACES to complete the application
  • ACES is the ADB online application portal.

ADB evaluates applications based on: eligibility requirements, relevance of academic study and work experience; and the level of interest and motivation to contribute to development work.
