About Matsumae International Foundation

The Matsumae International Foundation (MIF) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that was established in 1979. The foundation's goals are to attract young researchers to Japanese institutions and to support connections between Japan and other countries. MIF offers short-term research fellowships to cover living expenses and research activities in Japan.
