About Mandela Washington Fellowship

The Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders is a program that helps young leaders from Sub-Saharan Africa develop their skills through academic coursework, leadership training, and networking. The program is part of the U.S. Government's Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), which was established in 2010. The fellowship is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and administered by IREX.
