Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the University of Twente Scholarship 2026 in the Netherlands (Funded), you must fulfill these eligibility criteria:

  • Before anything else, you must obtain an academic entrance letter.
  • You have been accepted (provisionally) into one of the UT master’s programs that qualify, beginning in September of the academic year 2025.
  • It could take up to eight weeks to receive the results after applying.
  • Obtain a visa for entry.
  • Meet the requirements of the English language test.
    • Academic IELTS 6.5 (or 90 on the TOEFL iBT) plus
    • an extra 6.0 (or 20 on the TOEFL iBT) on the speaking skills subscore.
  • Students from the EU and EEA are not eligible to take the UTS.
  • Dutch students and/or existing UT students are not eligible for the UTS.
