Eligibility Criteria for University of Pavia CICOPS Scholarships 2026

  • Applicant must be a Citizen of a Developing country (as classified by the World Bank).
  • Applicants must have at least two years of either teaching experience or activity within international organizations and institutions.
  • Scholarships are designed for both junior and senior members of Universities.
  • Applicants enrolled in a Doctoral or Postgraduate Course at an Italian University are not eligible to apply.

Applicants can join for either the period of January 12th – July 24th, 2026, or the period of September 7th – December 18th, 2026.

Objective of the CICOPS Scholarship

The aim is to invite International candidates, Researchers, scholars, Teachers, Professors, Junior and Senior members of Universities who are involved in any Research to work on a Joint Research Project with a University of Pavia Professor for 12 Weeks.

Candidates must first contact a Professor at the University of Pavia whose field of interest and research aligns with their own. If the Professor agrees to collaborate, the candidate can then proceed to apply and complete the application form.
