    China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam.
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship is available for students admitted to:
  • MA Theology and Religion
  • MA Religion, Politics and Society
  • Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must:
  • Hold an offer to study an eligible Master’s (taught) Theology program at the University of Birmingham
  • Be commencing their studies in the 2026 academic year
  • Be a new Master’s student (current Master’s students are not eligible)
  • Intend to return to their country of ordinary residence after completing their studies
  • Not hold this award alongside any other scholarship (including partnership scholarships)
  • Submit a complete funding application with two references by the deadline
