UAL International Postgraduate Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

  • Required Language: English.
  • Eligible Countries: You need to qualify for the Overseas category of tuition fee status. Read more about postgraduate tuition fees.
  • Your course must offer either a Grad Dip, MARCH, MA, MFA, MBA, MRes, or MSc qualification and be offered at one of UAL’s colleges or institutes. Courses run by UAL Online are not eligible for this scholarship.
  • You are not eligible to apply if you already hold a UK postgraduate taught qualification (or one at an equivalent level) from studies undertaken in the UK.
  • You have achieved, or are predicted to achieve, an upper second-class honors degree or higher at the undergraduate level. Recognized equivalent qualifications are also accepted. To check your eligibility, read the International Academic Qualifications Equivalency.
  • You will need to provide your transcripts as proof of your qualification.
  • If you haven’t received your results, you must submit proof of your predicted grade with your application. Upon receiving your results, you must furnish additional proof of achieving your predicted grade to secure the award.
  • You must provide a personal statement as part of your scholarship application, which responds to the following questions (maximum 350 words per question):
  • Please tell us about how your achievements and experience gained both within and outside of school/university demonstrate your suitability for this award.
  • Please tell us how you intend to use the qualification you will be studying to support your plans.
  • What contributions do you intend to make to university life while studying? How do you feel being part of the UAL community will help you in achieving your career aspirations?
