Unpaid Volunteer Scholarship

Explore unpaid volunteer scholarships for students whose community service, civic engagement, or nonprofit work demonstrates a commitment to helping others. This Scholarship Union topic page highlights funding opportunities that may recognize volunteer contributions and help reduce the cost of undergraduate or postgraduate study. Awards can differ in purpose and eligibility: some may consider the number of service hours, leadership experience, the cause supported, academic standing, location, or financial need. Review each opportunity’s official requirements carefully, since volunteering alone may not guarantee eligibility or selection.

Use the listings on this page to identify relevant awards, then confirm application deadlines, required documents, award values, and any study-level or residency conditions with the scholarship provider. Prepare a clear account of your volunteer role, the community impact of your work, and any references or records requested. Opportunities may relate to local projects, international service, campus initiatives, or nonprofit organizations. Check back for updates and explore related scholarship resources to compare funding options. Whether you are an undergraduate or postgraduate applicant, thoughtful research can help you find awards aligned with your service experience and educational plans.
