São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) Scholarship

The São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) supports scientific and technological research in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. This page brings together information about FAPESP scholarship and fellowship opportunities for students and researchers interested in research-based study or training. Funding may be available through different programs and levels of study, and each opportunity can have its own eligibility rules, benefits, deadlines and application process. Some awards are connected to research projects or institutions, so applicants should check the specific program details before applying. International students should also confirm whether a particular opportunity accepts applicants from outside Brazil and review any residency, language or institutional requirements. Use the resources linked from this archive to learn about available funding, prepare application materials and identify the appropriate contact or host institution. Scholarship Union shares opportunity information to help undergraduate and postgraduate students explore funding options; official FAPESP announcements and program pages remain the definitive source for current conditions. Requirements and availability can change, so verify details directly with FAPESP before making academic or financial plans.
