Mitacs Scholarship

Explore Mitacs Scholarship information for students seeking research experience and funding connected with Canadian universities and industry partners. Mitacs supports research and innovation through programs that can provide internships, project funding, and opportunities to collaborate with academic and business organizations. The exact award name, funding amount, duration, and eligibility criteria depend on the specific program, project, institution, and current intake; not every opportunity is a traditional scholarship or open to every nationality.

This term archive brings together Scholarship Union content relevant to Mitacs funding, including guidance for undergraduate and postgraduate applicants. Use the available article to understand how opportunities work, what qualifications may be required, and how to prepare an application or contact a participating institution. International students should confirm whether their country, university, discipline, and proposed host organization meet the rules for the program they are considering.

Before applying, review the latest details on Mitacs and partner institution websites, since deadlines and requirements can change. Compare the funding terms carefully and verify any costs, placement conditions, and documents needed.
