ICCROM Scholarship

The ICCROM Scholarship provides a distinctive opportunity for undergraduate and postgraduate students worldwide to pursue advanced study and research in cultural heritage conservation. Sponsored by the International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property (ICCROM), the scholarship supports talented candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to protecting and preserving cultural heritage across the globe.

Recipients of the ICCROM Scholarship receive comprehensive funding that typically covers tuition fees, living expenses, travel costs, and research materials. The program actively encourages interdisciplinary approaches and fosters international collaboration among emerging heritage professionals. Eligible applicants must possess a relevant academic background and submit a clear research proposal aligned with ICCROM’s mission and strategic priorities.

Because the application process is highly competitive, candidates are expected to prepare academic transcripts, letters of recommendation, and a well-developed statement of purpose. Successful scholars join a global network of heritage professionals and contribute to impactful conservation projects.
