Scholarships in Spain

The ICANN Fellowship Program is a prestigious initiative designed to engage students and professionals from around the world in the governance and policy-making processes of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). This program provides selected fellows with the opportunity to participate in ICANN’s Public Meetings, which are held three times a year in different global locations. Through this immersive experience, fellows gain firsthand knowledge of internet governance, domain name systems, and the multi-stakeholder model that guides ICANN’s operations. The fellowship aims to build capacity within the global community by fostering the next generation of internet leaders. Eligible applicants typically include undergraduate and postgraduate students, academics, and professionals from diverse backgrounds who demonstrate a strong interest in internet policy and governance. The program covers travel expenses, accommodation, and meeting registration fees, making it accessible to participants from various economic backgrounds. Fellows engage in workshops, networking sessions, and policy discussions, allowing them to contribute to critical debates on internet-related issues. By participating in the ICANN Fellowship, students can enhance their understanding of global internet infrastructure while connecting with experts and peers from across the globe. This program not only supports professional development but also encourages active involvement in shaping the future of the internet. For students pursuing careers in technology, law, or international relations, the ICANN Fellowship offers invaluable exposure to the complexities of internet governance.
