China Scholarship Council (CSC) Bachelor’s Studentships

The China Scholarship Council (CSC) Bachelor’s Studentships represent one of the most prestigious funding opportunities for international students pursuing undergraduate degrees at Chinese universities. Administered by the China Scholarship Council, these fully-funded awards are designed to attract talented students from around the world and support their academic development in China’s rapidly expanding higher education sector.

CSC Bachelor’s Studentships typically cover tuition fees, on-campus accommodation, a monthly living allowance, and comprehensive medical insurance. This complete funding package allows recipients to focus entirely on their studies without financial burden. Programs are available across a broad range of disciplines, including engineering, medicine, economics, business, computer science, and the humanities, giving applicants considerable flexibility in choosing a field aligned with their career goals.

Eligibility requirements generally include a completed secondary school qualification, satisfactory academic performance, and compliance with Chinese language or English proficiency standards, depending on the chosen program’s medium of instruction. Application deadlines for the 2026 intake usually fall between January and April, and candidates are advised to prepare supporting documents well in advance.
