Busitema University, Kyambogo University, Strathmore University, Namibia University of Science and Technology, University of Cape Town, and University of Twente Master’s Studentships

Scholarship Union presents a consolidated guide to master’s studentships at six leading institutions: Busitema University, Kyambogo University, Strathmore University, Namibia University of Science and Technology, University of Cape Town, and University of Twente. This archive page gathers funding opportunities designed for postgraduate students pursuing advanced degrees across Africa and Europe. Fields of study span engineering, business, health sciences, technology, and the natural sciences, reflecting the diverse academic strengths of each partner university. Each studentship listing outlines eligibility criteria, application deadlines, award benefits, and required supporting documents, allowing prospective applicants to compare options efficiently. Master’s studentships at these institutions typically cover tuition fees, monthly stipends, research allowances, and in some cases travel or accommodation costs. Competition is significant, so candidates should prepare a compelling research proposal, secure strong academic references, and demonstrate alignment between their goals and the host department’s priorities. This page is updated regularly to reflect current calls for applications in 2026. Applicants are encouraged to review each institution’s official requirements carefully and submit materials well before stated deadlines. Whether you are based in East Africa, Southern Africa, or elsewhere, these studentships offer a pathway to internationally recognised qualifications and valuable research experience.
