Black Heart Foundation Bachelor’s Studentships

The Black Heart Foundation Bachelor’s Studentships are prestigious awards created to support undergraduate students who demonstrate exceptional academic potential alongside genuine financial need. Administered by the Black Heart Foundation, these studentships aim to reduce the barriers that prevent talented young people from accessing and completing higher education. Funding may contribute toward tuition fees, living expenses, and other essential educational costs associated with a first bachelor’s degree at an accredited institution. Eligible applicants must be enrolled in, or preparing to begin, their first undergraduate degree programme. The selection process takes academic merit, leadership qualities, and community involvement into account, and candidates are typically required to submit a personal statement, letters of recommendation, and evidence of financial need. The studentships are open to students of all nationalities, with particular encouragement for those from underrepresented backgrounds. Recipients join a wider network of scholars and may benefit from mentorship and ongoing support. Application deadlines generally fall in early spring, so prospective candidates should prepare their documents well in advance.
