Association of Commonwealth Universities Master’s Studentships

The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) Master’s Studentships are prestigious awards designed to support outstanding students from Commonwealth countries who are pursuing full-time master’s degrees at UK universities. These studentships typically cover tuition fees, living expenses, and travel costs, enabling scholars to focus on their academic and research objectives without financial distraction. Administered by the ACU, the program fosters international collaboration and addresses global challenges through higher education. Eligible candidates must demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to contributing to their home countries’ development. The application process generally involves submitting academic transcripts, references, and a research proposal. Successful recipients join a vibrant alumni network of change-makers across the Commonwealth. For the 2026-2027 academic year, the ACU expects to fund multiple studentships across a wide range of disciplines. Prospective applicants should review specific university partnerships and deadlines carefully.
