Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the SNU Global EDGE Fellowship 2025, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Admission Requirement: Must be a new doctoral student admitted in the 1st or 2nd semester of 2025 OR an integrated master’s & doctoral student who has advanced to the doctoral stage in the 1st or 2nd semester of 2025.
• Affiliation: Must be majoring in a department supported by the BK21 Four Project.
• Research Participation: Must be actively engaged in research activities funded by the BK21 Four Project.
• Funding Restriction: Must not be receiving other scholarships that provide tuition waivers or financial support from another BK21 Four Research Project.

Additional Requirements

• Scholars must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.3 throughout the scholarship period.
• Continued participation in BK21 Four Project activities is mandatory to retain eligibility.

Scholarship Duration

• The fellowship provides support for a maximum of 4 semesters (2 academic years).Funding is strictly tied to academic performance and active participation in BK21 Four Project research.

How to Apply?

• Check that you meet all eligibility criteria: new doctoral student in 2025, part of a BK21 Four Project department, actively involved in BK21 research, and not receiving another BK21 tuition scholarship.

• Complete the BK21 Four Project Participation Confirmation form and the Research Participation Confirmation (printable via SRnD system).
• Submit all documents to your college’s administration office before the internal deadline to allow them to forward your application to OIA.
• Ensure your college submits your application to OIA by October 14, 2025 (Tuesday).
• Wait for notification of document screening results; only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.
