The University of Sydney International Scholarship programme helps and supports interested students who want to undertake a PhD degree at the University of Sydney in Australia. The bursary is available for the academic session 2022/2023.

Scholarship Benefits
This scholarship will provide an annual stipend allowance of $5,000 (fixed rate) per annum for up to three years and is subject to satisfactory academic performance.
Scholarship Eligibility
- Eligible Countries: All nationalities are eligible for this University of Sydney International Scholarship.
- Acceptable Course or Subjects: Postgraduate Research program in Urban Bat Ecology
- Admissible Criteria: To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be an international student
- Have an unconditional offer of admission or be enrolled in a full-time PhD at the Faculty of Science
- Be willing to conduct research into social dynamics and traits associated with bat species occupying urban bat boxes in Sydney.
- You must hold a master’s degree in a related field with a substantial research component.
- Applicants have a background in bat ecology, including the use of bat acoustic recorders and analysis software.
- Students hold an externally funded scholarship that funds tuition fees and living expenses.
- Be willing to conduct research in urban environments and wildlife boxes which require nighttime work and working at heights.
- Have or be willing to have bat Lyssa virus vaccination.

- How to Apply: If you want to be enlisted in this educational program, then you are recommended to take admission in the postgraduate research program at the University of Sydney. After being registered, you must submit an online application form for the opportunity.
- Supporting Documents: You must submit a CV, academic certificates, feedback from two academic referees, and a personal statement with your application.
- Admission Requirements: To become a part of the university, you must meet the entry requirements of the program.
