Scholarship Benefits

Distinction:
- Scholarship up to 12,000 Euros per academic year throughout the Bachelor’s program.
- Scholarship of 8,000 Euros per year for the Master’s program.
Merit:
- 7,000 Euros scholarship annually for the Bachelor’s program.
- 5,000 Euros per year for students in the Master’s program.
Honors:
- Scholarship of 4,000 Euros per year for the Bachelor’s program.
- 3,000 Euros per year for the Master’s program.
Scholarship Eligibility
- The scholarship in Europe is open to both bachelor’s and master’s students from around the world.
- Newly admitted undergraduate (Bachelor’s) and graduate (Master’s) degree students are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants must demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and verified financial need if they wish to receive Webster University scholarship in 2024-25.
- A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on the American 4-point scale is a requirement for the Webster Vienna Private University Scholarships.
- Similarly, proficiency in English at an advanced or native level is also necessary.
- Only admitted students for full bachelor’s or master’s degree programs (not certificate or English preparation programs) are eligible to apply for WVPU scholarships.
- Prospective students must first apply to one of the degree programs through the Admissions Office.
- Upon admission, students can then apply and be considered for the Webster Vienna Private University Scholarships.
- Moreover, all applicants must ensure that they meet any additional criteria and requirements for admission into their chosen degree program.
- The selection criteria and admission decisions are based on factors including, but not limited to, proficiency in English, academic background, motivation, global perspectives, engagement in extracurricular activities, and the quality of the applicant’s essay.
Distinction scholarship:
- Minimum of 3.5 GPA.
- Minimum of C1 English Language proficiency.
Merit Scholarship:
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA.
- Minimum of B2 English language proficiency.
Honors Scholarship:
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA.
- Minimum of B2 English language proficiency.

- Original Essay of 1000 to 2000 words on one of the following topics:
1) Reflect on a challenging situation or experience where you encountered failure and describe the lessons learned from it. Explain the situation, what actions you took, and how you learned from this experience.
2) Most students at Webster Vienna University have cultural heritage, skill or talent that defines them and enriches the lives of their peers. If you do too, share in an essay.
