RMIT University is eagerly awaiting applications for the PhD Scholarship on Impacts of the Apartment Boom on Public Transport in Australian Cities for the academic year 2022-2023. The scholarship award can be taken in Australia.
RMIT University PhD scholarships has been made open to both, international and domestic students. Students that undertake a PhD study in Global, Urban and Social Studies at RMIT are eligible for this scholarship award. The award will provide the students $32,841 per annum for up to 3 years.

Scholarship Benefits
The applicants selected for RMIT University PhD scholarships will be provided the $32,841 per annum (2022 rate, indexed annually) for 3 years to pursue their respective PhD studies at RMIT.
Scholarship Eligibility
- Eligible Countries: International and Australian national students can both apply for RMIT University PhD scholarships.
- Eligible Course or Subjects: Students can apply for a PhD study programme in the field of Global, Urban, and Social Studies at RMIT.
- Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
- The applicants must have first-class Honours or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- The applicants must meet RMIT’s entry requirements for the Doctor of Philosophy.
Others
- How to Apply: The applicants must first submit an application online. Then mail the documents listed below [email protected] to apply for the scholarship.
- Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
- CV outlining qualifications, relevant industry/research experience, publications and referees
- Copy of academic transcript/s
- Evidence of meeting all English language requirements (international applicants only)
- Copies of up to three (3) relevant research papers/reports/theses.
- Admission Requirements: The applicants must have a bachelor degree requiring at least four years of full-time study in a relevant discipline awarded with honors or a master degree that includes a research component comprised of at least 25% of a full-time academic year (or part-time equivalent) with an overall distinction average or a master degree without a research component with at least a high distinction average
- Language Requirement: The students must submit scores of the following English language proficiency tests:
- IELTS (Academic) – a minimum overall band of 6.5 (with no individual band below 6.0)
- TOEFL (Internet Based Test – IBT) – minimum overall score of 79 (with a minimum of 13 in Reading, 12 in Listening, 18 in Speaking, and 21 in Writing)
- Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE (A)) – minimum score of 58 (with no communication band less than 50)
- Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) – minimum of 176 with no less than 169 in any component
