The Picchi Brothers Foundation Scholarship at University of Melbourne in Australia is open to all Australian nationals. It is offered for a PhD degree in the field of Medical Research. The deadline for sending an application varies. This scholarship is provided by the University of Melbourne.

This scholarship is to support an enrolled graduate research student who demonstrates research potential and intends to undertake a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in asthma research.

This scholarship provides a fortnightly stipend with a rate of $50,000 per year (full-time student rate) for 3.5 years.

• Students need to be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
• Students should have applied for and met the entry requirements for Doctor of Philosophy – Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences in the field of asthma research.
• Students should have a registered principal supervisor in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences.
• Students should have not completed a Doctor of Philosophy or held a graduate research scholarship previously.
