Maxwell King PhD Scholarship at Monash University in Australia 2024-25

The Maxwell King PhD Scholarship at Monash University in Australia is open to Australians and New Zealanders. The Maxwell King Scholarship (MKS) is named after Professor Maxwell King, who has made an outstanding contribution to graduate research at Monash University, including eight years as Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research and Research Training).

This prestigious scholarship is available to help support a student undertaking a PhD with living costs whilst studying at Monash.

The MKS provides:

• A living allowance (stipend);
• A research allowance; and
• A relocation allowance, if eligible.

You must be one of the following:

• An Australian citizen
• A New Zealand citizen
• Australian permanent resident
• Australian humanitarian visa holder
• An International student

You must meet the following criteria:

• Have to submitted a scholarship application in the current year;
• Meet Monash’s competitive scholarship selection process requirements; and
• Meet Monash English language proficiency requirements.
