Joan Lambrides Scholarship at University of Queensland in Australia 2024-25

The Joan Lambrides Scholarship at University of Queensland in Australia is open to all nationals. It is offered for Bachelors degree in the field of Arts, humanities and social sciences. The deadline for the sending your application is 31 Jul 2024. This scholarship is provided by University of Queensland (UQ). 

The Joan Lambrides Scholarship was created in 2020 by Gary Lambrides with assistance from Alumni Friends. It honors Gary's mother, Joan Lambrides, who studied at UQ as an adult and earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1981. Her early years were spent between war-torn Greece and Australia, but she never really felt at home there. She encouraged her children and everyone around her to pursue their passions for music and languages despite this.

• The student must be enrolled in one of the undergraduate programs offered by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, including the honors program, or in a dual program that combines any of the faculty's undergraduate programs.
