Eligibility

To be eligible for this application you must meet the following requirements:

  • Students from being a national of one of the following countries: China, USA, Canada, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Turkey, Algeria, Morocco, and India.

For Business Excellence Scholarships:

  • hold an unconditional offer of admission to one of the specified Master’s courses
  • hold a UK 1st Class Honours Degree or its international equivalent
  • have previously studied at a University with a strong academic reputation or ranking
  • hold an English language qualification of IELTS 6.5 or its equivalent with no subskill below 6.0, if your first language is not English
  • be assessed as a UK/EU student for fee-paying purposes

For English Language Excellence Scholarship

  • hold an unconditional offer of admission to one of the specified Master’s courses
  • hold a UK 2.1 Honours Degree or its international equivalent
  • hold an English language qualification of IELTS 7.5 or its equivalent with no subskill below 6.5
  • be assessed as an international student for fee-paying purposes
  • be a national of one of the following countries: India, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, Lebanon
  • not previously studied in a majority English speaking country

For Enterprise and Innovation Scholarship

  • You have been offered a place on the MSc in Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship or the MA in Arts, Business and Creativity
  • You have been assessed as UK/EU for fees purposes, and are wholly or partially self-financing
  • You intend to register to start your studies during the 2019-20 academic year.

Others

Applications must be submitted using the online application form. Other applications will not be accepted.

Admission Requirements: Eligible candidates will be assessed according to evidence of academic ability, evidence of commitment to studies and quality of the application.

Language Requirements: Students need a good level of English language to study at Newcastle University. English will be the main language you use socially and for study. If English is not their first language they will need to provide a recognized English language test or qualification.

Application Deadline: No application required, students will be considered for these endowments once their offer status becomes Unconditional for the Business Excellence and English Language Excellence Scholarship. Enterprise and Innovation award is open until 31 July 2019.
